Bex Rimmington BlogAugust 2009Melton Olympics Bex Rimmington competed in the Rudy Project National Time Trial series with tandem partner Lora Turnham, near Worcester at the weekend. Competing over a 16.4mile undulating course the pair posted a time of 42.08, to place second only 20-seconds behind double paralympic gold medallist Simon Richardson.
The next stop was the Bridlington CC Tandem 10-mile Time Trial. In wet and windy conditions the pair posted a time of 22.13, Bex and Lora were the only female pair competing, however their time was good enough to claim second place against all the other mixed tandems.
Bex and Lora now fly out to Italy for a week long training camp with the Great Britain team, to undergo final preparations for the World para-cycling championships at the beginning of September.
