Training Camp In Limoux

Well it's almost race season, and I have departed for my season of racing in Europe. My first stop is a 2-week training camp with Team Swift Womens Professional Cycling Team in Limoux, France. Having completed my first week of training, it has been a great opportunity to explore new roads and terrain. It has also been my first experience of seeing the pyrenee's, and hopefully towards the end of the second week we will get the opportunity to venture up them!

2008 Training Camp, Almeria, Spain

Well 2008 is officially underway, and I have just completed my first training camp in Almeria, Spain. It was a great weeks worth of training in the mountains and sunshine, and bumping into the Rabobank Professional Team climbing Carboneras at the same time as us.

GB Training Camp at the BOA Training Centre, Lofer, Austria

In preparation for the World Championships in France, Mel and I were invited on the GB disability endurance training camp straight after our competition in Holzkirchen, Germany. Walking through the doors of an Olympic training centre sparked up a huge amount of emotions, to see the five golden rings gleeming infront of you, knowing how many Olympians and medallists have been here before you, just highlights the desire of what an Olympic Games or Paralympic Games means.
