Melton cyclist Bex Rimmington has vowed to work even harder after finishing outside of the medals at the Paracycling World Championships.

Day 4 - Stone Strikes second gold!
Day 4 of the World Paracycling road championships finished with the T2 Men’s race where Great Britain were represented by David Stone. The C5 road race was the first event for Russ White, plus later on in the day, the Women’s tandem road race.

Day 2
The first session of Day 2 of the Paracycling Road World Champs was a solid performance for the Great Britain's women’s tandem of Rebecca Rimmington and Lora Turnham while in the Second session, Great Britain had some solid results and also a fantastic ride by Academy rider Shaun McKeown.

Melton Olympic Cycling Club rider Bex Rimmington and Lora Turnham returned to action last weekend at Coventry Cycling Club's open 10-mile Time Trial.
The tandem pairing completed the course in a time of 23min 15secs, a full 30-seconds faster than the men's pairing from Leamington Spa.
The girls now fly out to Arona, Italy, for a 10-day training camp as preparation for the World Championships after receiving their official confirmation of their selection. ... |

Melton Olympic Cycling club rider Bex Rimmington and Lora Turnham warmes up for their world championship challenge with a win last weekend.
They were competing at the Rudy Project National Time Trial series at Wyre Forest and completed the 16.7-mile course in a time of 41min 57secs to take first place.
This was the girls final race before heading off to Baie-Comeau in Canada for the Para-cycling World Championships.

Melton Olympic Cycling Club rider Bex Rimmington became British Paracycling Road Race champion last weekend with her tandem partner Lora Turnham.
The race was staged on Sunday at the Horwich carnival where the 2km town centre circuit gave them the chance to show their current good form. They simply rode away from the rest of the field over the 16-lap race to dominate from start to finish.

There were two Paracycling championships held in Horwich on Sunday during an entertaining day of bike and running races for all ages and abilities. Held on a closed circuit close to Horwich Town Centre, both races were held over a distance of an hour and were flagged off the start line by the Mayor.

Bex and visually imparied tandem partner Lora Turnham represented Britain at the first UCI Para-cycling World Cup in Segovia, Spain. Competition was fierce with nations competing for points which will convert into places for the London 2012 Paralympics.
