2007: Rebecca Rimmington (Great Britain)
Rebecca has continued to steadily improve on her excellent 2006 season, currently racing with VC St.Raphael, home of Victoria Pendleton amongst other stars. She has moved into her second season of high level competition by distinguishing herself both as a solo rider and as a pilot of disabled tandem, taking a trio of top for places for Great Britain at the 2007 World Championships in Bordeaux.
Rebecca would like to further her career experience as a road rider, where she sees her professional future by racing during 2008 in Europe.
Rebecca’s dedication to training is well known as is her commitment to riding clean and riding as a junior member of a team for others. Her willingness to learn is second to none.

History
2007
Moved to VC St Raphael in 2007 after an excellent 2006 season and early season 2007 and then gained selection to pilot the tandem for the Great Britain Disability squad at the Europa cup, and World Championships.
2006
Switched to cycling in May 2006 representing Melton Olympic. Won five Welsh track championships: BDCA & LCA Hill Climb and the Mallory Park Women’s Criterium series.
2005
First season in triathlon, won European age-group championships in Lausanne, Switzerland and UK Half-Ironman age group championships. Broke 20-24 years British masters 800m Freestyle record.
2004
Was introduced to triathlon. Won National age-group sprint championships. However, whilst running off-road fell down a pot-hole and broke my fibula so was only able to swim during this time.
